MonoDefense features an app called DNS Firewall. This solution will block malware and compromised websites, as well as filter malicious traffic in real-time. It operates through several curated (and customizable) blocklists that are regularly updated to contain known malicious, phishing, and other compromised sites. You can actually select what other types of traffic you want to block, for example, inappropriate content.

Almost all MonoDefense apps can be applied for family protection. VPN Unlimited can protect your whole household’s network once installed on your WiFi router. DNS Firewall allows you to customize content blocklists to ban specific types of content inappropriate for your kids. And Passwarden literally offers a Family plan to let you protect several devices with a single subscription.

• AES-256 data encryption. We keep your data encrypted when it’s stored in our services or transmitted online. This way even if someone intercepts your web traffic (e.g. if while you’re connected to an unprotected public WiFi), they will not be able to read your personal information, rendering it useless to them.
• Two-factor authentication (2FA). It protects your accounts in MonoDefense apps with an extra layer of security. With 2FA, your account is locked not only with your password (which could be cracked or stolen), but also with an additional confirmation step (authenticator app or code by email).
• Strong passwords. One way not to have your passwords compromised is using strong passwords. Passwarden (one of MonoDefense apps) features a strong password generator, so you can create a strong code, save it to a Passwarden vault on the fly, and use it for other MonoDefense apps on the fly.
